We are a Union comprised of Prevention/Inspection and Supression personnel. We serve a rapidly growing community of 82,023 citizens. We protect world leaders in technological developement, such as Intel and Triquint. We cover the Port of Portland Hillsboro Airport, which is the busiest in the state, second only to PDX. We have 21.5 square miles we are responsible for that has everything from farmland to high tech. Hillsboro Firefighters Local 2210 staffs three full time stations, providing all risk protection to our community. Our members are talented in many diverse disciplines such as confined space rescue, high & low angle rescue, inspection, prevention, education, swiftwater rescue, colapse rescue, hazardous materials, emergency medical service, and of course, fire supression. We also have members that are part of the state urban search and rescue team. Our membership takes great pride in doing our absolute best both on the line and off.
